yelobox is based on the “virtual smart card” concept, offering high-level
security mechanisms derived from smart card standards.
yelobox uses standard encryption techniques and digital certificates to turn any standard USB media into a “data safe”.
It uses a standalone application making the solution completely driverless. As a result, confidential information can be safely stored on on any yelobox protected USB key, and accessed from any computer where the key is inserted.
Once inserted into the computer, yelobox displays a virtual keyboard and promps for user PIN authentication before providing access to all files stored - and encrypted -on the USB card.
