Authentication systems
Whilst fraud has drastically increased on the Internet, most user authentication processes still rely on weak mechanisms such as login/passwords. “Strong” authentication techniques have been introduced in the last few years, but often impose high constraints on the user community, and poor interoperability.
Based on “virtual smart card”, yelobox has been designed to address these issues by combining high level security standards with transparent and easy-to-use mechanisms to the benefit of the end-user.
e-authentication
yelobox uses certificates* stored securely on any type of USB card. Once
inserted into the computer, yelobox prompts a virtual keyboard for user
PIN authentication. The user is then allowed automatic access to secure
internet sites by way of electronic certificate. This dual factor authentication
process (key + PIN) is completely driverless and allows users to access
secure services from any computer, anytime, anywhere.

e-payment
Up until now internet users have been able to pay online simply using
the written information from a bank card. From now on - using 3D secure
- internet users will have to identify themselves via a trusted third
party and show that they are the owner of the actual card. the yelobox
solution fully supports this approach through the use of electronic certificate.
e-signature
Signing a document online is easy with yelobox. Electronic signatures
can be safely generated by using onboard certificates and virtual keyboard
for PIN entry.
